Barbara G. Jensen

Barbara Jensen focuses her practice on a range of family law issues, from moderate to high-end financial issues in divorce cases to grandparent rights in visiting and seeking custody of their grandchildren. Barbara has worked in all arenas of legal family issues, including divorces, same-sex custody and financial issues, and prenuptial agreements. She counsels clients who must weather the divorce process with a particularity difficult spouse.

Barbara approaches cases based on the needs and desires of her clients, and gives them practical, realistic advice. She handles cases that may need business valuations, custody valuations, other expert collaboration, or that may have significant tax issues. She has settled hundreds of cases through mediation and written settlement agreements addressing common and novel matters. She has 33 years of trial experience, and tries cases in which a fair settlement cannot be reached for her client.

Barbara is a respected advocate and trial attorney in the legal community, and often lectures on family law topics. She has testified as an expert in legal fees, and has been retained as an expert in dependency and neglect.
